Shihan Nicholas da Costa
Is a World renowned Kyokushin fighter and Instructor.
Ranked as the Top Middle-weight in the World in the 1980's. He was the first fighter to win 2 European Championships when Kyokushin Karate was one united organisation with the founder Masutatsu Oyama. Shihan Nick was also one of only two non-Japanese fighters to be placed in the top eight twice, at the Open Weight, World Full Contact Championships, held in Japan evey four years. He achieved this in1984 & 1987. This was in the presence of Sosai Oyama. He is highly respected around the Globe and especially in Japan where his abilities were displayed at the highest level of Kyokushin Karate.

Shihan Graham Warden
A National Champion in Semi-Contact & Full contact, he represented GB at the 4th World Tournament in 1987, winning 3 fights before retiring due to injury. Shihan Grahams karate history stretches back to the early 1970's. For many years he ran the most successful full-contact dojo in the UK. He is a passionate instructor who has coached many students to the highest levels of Kyokushin Full-Contact Karate. He is an invaluable member of the board and a person you want on your side in good and bad times.

Shihan Felix Ntumazah
Shihan Felix trained under Hanshi Steve Arneil and was a Multiple Champion in Full & Semi Contact fighting. Winning the British Open Heavyweight title in 5 consecutive years and also a European H/W Title He also fought successfully in the K1 (kickboxing) in Japan and taught for many years alongside his mentor Arneil at Crystal Palace dojo, Shihan Felix now runs his former instructors iconic club. He has taught many times around the world on various camps sharing his knowledge in Karate and security, where his practical skills have been required.

Shihan Jeff Whybrow
An inspiration to a whole generation of karate-ka in the UK and around the World in the late 1970's & 80's. He sometimes has an experimental approach to teaching, retaining a refreshingly open mind to this very day. He started his own dojo at the tender age of 17yrs and created great karate students, such as Michael Thompson & Dave Greaves to name just two. His achievements in fighting are many and are almost matched by his numerous & famous demonstrations.
He is known for his integrity & humility and is always willing to share his knowledge and wisdom.

Shihan Darren Stringer
A World Champion in Kata & Knockdown, shihan Darren trained under Hanshi Steve Arneil, firstly as a Junior, then as an adult, and is admired for his high level of technical ability. Shihan Darren has achieved this through his disciplined approach to his training methods and dedication to the Art. He is the main instructor at Budo Dojo in London, UK, where he passionately passes on his knowledge to his students. His teaching skills are understandably in high demand around the world.

Shihan Julio Romero
Is a great advert for Karate. He teaches the complete version (Kihon/Kata/Kumite) of Kyokushin as taught by Sosai Oyama, in a part of the World where this is not necessarily always the case. He is a principled karate-ka who is not influenced by material gains and adheres strongly to his beliefs. He is leading Argentina as our representative and is also our ambassador to South America.
